Class B CDL Training

Hands-On Class B CDL Training - WE COME TO YOU!

What is a Class B CDL?

A Class B CDL is commonly used for operating single commercial vehicles with a GVWR of 26,001 pounds or more, as well as certain combinations where the towed vehicle does not exceed 10,000 pounds GVWR.

Class B vehicles can include dump trucks, straight trucks, buses, utility vehicles, and other heavy commercial vehicles, depending on the vehicle and required endorsements.

1. Online ELDT Theory

Students begin by completing their required Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) theory online. This provides the flexibility to complete coursework around work and personal schedules.

2. Pre-Trip Inspection Training

A strong understanding of the vehicle is an important part of becoming a commercial driver.

We provide detailed pre-trip inspection training, helping students understand what they're inspecting, why it's important, and how to properly demonstrate their knowledge during the CDL skills test.

3. On-Site Behind-the-Wheel Training

 We come to you.

Our instructor works directly with the student on vehicle control, range exercises, backing, positioning, reference points, and the skills required for the CDL test.

When appropriate, employees can train using the same type of equipment they'll operate on the job, making the training more relevant to their actual responsibilities.

4. On-Road CDL Training

Students receive hands-on road instruction covering safe commercial vehicle operation, including turns, intersections, lane positioning, speed management, railroad crossings, traffic awareness, and proper vehicle control.

5. CDL Skills Test Preparation

As test day approaches, we bring everything together and focus on preparing the student for the complete CDL skills testing process.

Our goal isn't simply to help someone pass a test. We want students to become safe, confident, and capable commercial drivers.
